Sea ScoutPatrol Leader of the Gannets. John Corall, 1st Chanonry Sea Scouts. Our boat had been commandeered during the war and had not been replaced. We made do on occasions with Sandy Jack's at Rosemarkie with two rowing and four bailing! The stunning Mr Kirby's wife had a lot to do with the recruitment of Rosemarkie lads. He was the Scout Master and an engineer at the new TV mast.

Hello John Corall I read your interesting notes on Rosemarkie.I do remember you where do you live nowadays?I'd like to speak with you.I enjoyed your comment about Sandy's boat."two rowing, four bailing,"tales of"Para Handy"had a long way to catch Sandy.Sandy touched everyone he was a great Rosemarkie character.A Ben Line Bo'sun in his day & a good one.his one liners were brilliant.he was a natural born script writer.I remember when you lived in the now Groam House Museum.where you had a shop & off course the Beach Café.the new Beach Café is worth a visit if you are ever that way.
