I think this must be Fortrose Station,

Comments:
The picture is Fortrose Station. Locomotive is Loch Ericht, later destroyed in an accident north of Aviemore. On the footplate is driver Charlie Taylor, who lived at No.1 Railway Terrace and Fireman Jack Mackenzie, who lived at No.2. The picture was taken prior to October 1940, as that month Jack Mackenzie was moved to Inverness as a Driver. I once had an evening footplate ride on this loco to Muir of Ord On a "Tattie Special". I don't think the uniformed gentleman is the Stationmaster. Maybe a porter?
