Rosemarkie Beach - COPYRIGHT GROAM HOUSE MUSEUM

Picture taken around 1930/40? The little girl on the left is possibly the late Mary Gallie - but who are the others? Old tennis courts in background with a fine trellis fence, sea wall much higher than is visible today with steps below it on the beach, now buried. I vaguely remember sitting on these as a child in the early 70s. Pulpit Rock in background, where kids played at being the minister, pinnacle now covered in rhododendron. Big Rock appears to have another stone pinnacle behind it, no longer there, unless it's an optical illusion with the cliff behind.

Comments:
Far right may be Sybil Miller. One of the other little girls may be Baba (Barbara) Miller?

Tennis Courts, I used to take a Summer Girl friend Irene MacLeod to the Tennis Hut when I was 16/17 before I joined the Army, great memories
