Yes indeed Robin dear friend Spring at last.it's been the coldest spring in 50 years according to the experts.good photo.one of your many contributions I enjoy very much looking at the old photos.and a big thanks to the editor who acknowledges & prints my comments unfortunately I don.t know you.maybe I write too many comments but it's a bit sad to see a good photo without comment.more people should comment.Anderson Drive was named after the doctors of the time doctors John & Jack Anderson.i'd imagine anyway correct me if I'm wrong?.two great doctors.Dr John had a car called "A Ford V8 Pilot".which flew.Dr.Jack had a sleek "Allard"which I was lucky enough to have a ride in from Avoch to Fortrose.iwas only a boy at the time.but was I chuffed.that's all folks thanks for the memories J. Hell John, hope you are well, I'm Hugh Anderson, Dr. Jack Anderson's eldest son. I enjoyed reading the memory of dad's car the Allard. Happy days.

Hello Hugh, Just returned from the "Fortrose Classic Car Rally" I remember your fathers Allard in the Avoch Gala parade with the Herring Queen,it was a classic would be worth a fortune today.
Dr. John had a Ford V8 Pilot at the time i remember.
It's a long shot i know but do you have any old photos of the Allard ?? I'm sure the guys in the club would be very interested.

Hello Hugh I'm so glad you picked up on my story about your dad's car The Allard.she was something else!its many years have rolled on since I have seen you Alice my sister keeps in touch with your sister jane I remember you family well your father was a great doctor fondly remembered on the Black Isle.your mother was a very gentle lady regards to you all John Reddigan 25/01/2014.
